Ahmad Jamal (use of space and orchestration), Wayne Shorter (taste for interaction), Danilo Perez (thirst for exploration of the musical realm), Thelonious Monk (swing and humorous nature), Eric Dolphy (edgy melodic lines), David Fiuczynski (fondness of heavy and exotic grooves), Nguyen Lê, EST, The Bad Plus, Meshell Ndegeocello, David Bowie, Radiohead...

2009 | Jul.: performance at the Malta Jazz Festival (support to Kurt Rosenwinkel and Eliane Elias); Nov.: Word Out CD release Japan tour with Takashi Sugawa on bass and Ryo Shibata on drums
2011 | Sept.: 1st prize in Composition at the "Trophées du Sunside" (Paris)
followed by two performances at French festival "Jazz en Touraine"
